Homework Buddy

Reduce the achievement gap between high- and low- performing students

Staying on track improves confidence, leading to an increased likelihood of remaining in school.

We don’t know what our children are doing in front of their computers, we can’t help, we are uneducated.

Despite returning back to classroom learning, many low SES(Socioeconomic Status)  students still face learning difficulties, stemming from a variety of reasons such as a lack of support at home, language barriers, or falling behind outside the classroom. As a response, the Homework Buddy program works in collaboration with 30 primary and secondary schools for children from disadvantaged backgrounds who are not meeting education benchmarks.

Our Homework Buddies will help students keep on track with their school curriculum and engage with their studies in general. By having a constant reminder and a point of accountability, students will be more likely to be more focused on their studies to complete their school work, and to reach out whenever a need is identified.

Over time, our students will be more interested in their education, thus leading to a greater level of confidence and an increased likelihood of remaining in school.
